Drop off Friday at 2pm at Washington Cathedral in sanctuary with green and glass roof. Pick Up Sunday at 11:30am in front of the big recreation center.

Friday: We will take the church bus up to warm beach camp, arriving around 4 pm. Dinner will be at 5:45 in the main dining room. After dinner we swim. There is a shallow pool to play basketball in, or the kids can take a swim test to swim in the deep end of a second pool. There are professional life guards and our leaders looking after kids as well. Then we have an inspiring message, worship, bonfire, and smores. We also play capture the flag outside. Lights out by 10:15pm.

There is a wing for the girls, full of bunk beds, with two or more female leaders. There is a wing for the boys, full of bunk beds, with two or more male leaders. There is a third wing available should we get excessive numbers of one gender. Between the three wings is our lobby with refrigerator, and microwave. There is a set of girls bathrooms with showers and sinks and a set of boys bathrooms with showers and sinks. Kids and leaders are all asked to change their clothes in a private bathroom stall.

Saturday kids are up by 7:30, breakfast is at 8:15. There is canoeing, climbing tower, more swimming, hiking, group games, group crafts, free time, shopping in the gift shop, and a bible class. We do lunch at 12:15 and dinner at 6:30. We do one more bonfire, smores, worship, and message. lights out at 10:30.

Sunday we do breakfast in our lobby at 8:30 followed by worship, message, and games. we all clean up and head out around 10:15.

Kids are encouraged to keep electronics turned off at camp so that they can socialize with their friends. Kids are expected to go places in groups of 3 or more. All water activities are supervised by life guards. All leaders are given background checks and extensive child safety training including the rule to never be alone with a child. Kids are encouraged to bring nut-free snacks to share with friends. There is no pranking allowed that could damage another person's property or hurt their feelings.

All kids and leaders are expected to follow our #1 rule "treat everyone as a friend" looking for ways to be kind and include others.

Your child should pack: sleeping bag, pillow, (sheet to cover camp mattress is option), towel, swim suit, tooth brush, tooth paste, other hygiene products preferred like shampoo or deodorant, bug spray, sunscreen, flashlight, 3 days of clothes, plus one additional outfit to get very messy. Plan layers as it gets very hot and very cold. Please send at least 2 pairs of shoes which include a running shoe. Please send a reusable water bottle.

Optional items to bring: up to $40 in spending money, decorations for your cabin, snacks to share, silly costumes, games or crafts to share, fan for your cabin.
